Express Limited Warranties Policy
Nueseva Commerce, LLC, a Wyoming corporation and the parent company of ridelybikes, and its affiliated companies (collectively, “ridelybikes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides certain limited warranties on products purchased through our Services (as further defined in our Terms of Service) through the following “Express Limited Warranties Policy.” These include:
(i) Ridelybikes’ “One-Year Warranty,” which is limited to the following parts: brushless motor, charger and controller, lithium battery, frame and fork, display; and
(ii) Ridelybikes “Six-Month Warranty,” which is limited to the following parts: handlebar, seat post, seat tube, saddle, pedal, tires, front lights, sensors.
(iii) Collectively the warranties set forth in this Express Limited Warranties Policy are ridelybikes’ “Express Limited Warranties.”
(iv) The Express Limited Warranties Policy shall not apply if the damaged part is not listed in this Section.
(v) The Express Limited Warranties Policy shall not apply if the damage alleged is caused by normal wear and tear of parts, or incorrect adjustment of parts by users - such as tires, chain, brakes, cables, and/or derailleur set or similar, with causation leading to the damaged alleged.
(vi) The Express Limited Warranties Policy shall not apply if the damage alleged was caused by accident, abuse, misuse, misapplication or the application of non-ridelybikes products.
(vii) The Express Limited Warranties Policy shall not apply if the damage alleged was caused by services performed by third parties.
(viii) The Express Limited Warranties Policy shall not apply if the product or part in question has been modified without the express written permission of ridelybikes.
(ix) The Express Limited Warranties Policy shall not apply if the product continues to be used, despite damage and/or defects having been identified by the user.
(x) The Express Limited Warranties Policy does not cover any labor costs, meaning replacement parts will be sent to a customer’s address free of charge if the conditions for the Express Limited Warranties are satisfied; however, in no event will ridelybikes be held responsible for costs of labor.
(xi) When issuing a claim related to an alleged defect, the customer must provide photo and/or video evidence of the alleged defect to ridelybikes through the “Contact Us” page of our website and await written confirmation of approval for application of one of the Express Limited Warranties. If approved, the replacement part will be sent by ridelybikes to the customer’s provided address. Ridelybikes reserves the right to request additional information, including the customer sending the alleged defective part to ridleybikes at the customer’s cost, as part of the claims review process. There is no mandated timeframe for review and approval by ridelybikes, however, claims sent within an Express Limited Warranty period will be considered to be under the Express Limited Warranty period, even if review extends beyond the Express Limited Warranty period, provided that all other requirements set forth under the Express Limited Warranties Policy are met.
(xii) During an Express Limited Warranty period, customer will not be required to pay shipping costs for sending a defective product back to ridelybikes, provided that the customer can demonstrate that the product was defective upon receipt.
(xiii) During an Express Limited Warranty period, if the product becomes or is identified as being defective after being used but still within an Express Limited Warranty period, customer will be required for paying shipping costs to ship the product to ridleybikes in consideration of a replacement under the Express Limited Warranties Policy. There will be no charge to the customer for the replacement product.
(xiv) The Express Limited Warranties Policy set forth herein is for the original owner of a ridelybikes product only, and is non-transferable.
(xv) The terms of the Express Limited Warranties Policy are subject to updates from time to time at the sole discretion of ridelybikes.
(xvi) Please read our Terms of Service, Cancellation Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy, all of which are incorporated by reference into this Express Limited Warranties Policy, where appropriate.
